RIP Tonino Guerra (16th March 1920 - 21st March 2012) Italian Screenwriter Tonino Guerra wrote some beautiful and haunting scripts for the likes of Andrei Tarkovsky, Federico Fellini, Theo Angelopoulos and Michelangelo Antonioni to name a few. It’s been a sad first quarter to 2012 with the death of Angelopoulos, Erland Josephson and now Guerra. Might have to have a mini-Guerra season later on…
